What's new

New: Brain can read its answers out loud. There's a speaker button on every reply, and you can set it to read every answer automatically in Settings, AI & automation, Read aloud. It uses the voices already on your Mac or PC — your conversations are never sent to a voice service.
Choose the voice and how fast it speaks. Tables are read column by column so they still make sense, and code is announced rather than read out character by character.
Improved: Guardrail explanations now open in a side panel instead of pushing the page around, and you can close them with Escape.
Icons throughout the app replace the emoji that were standing in for them, so everything reads the same on Mac and Windows.
Screen readers now say "Signed", "Declined" or "Viewed" on documents instead of reading out a tick mark.
Whether a teammate is available to take a lead is now shown by the shape of the icon, not just its colour.
Fixed: Plan prices showed a dash during setup. The price list was being blocked until setup finished — which you could not do without seeing the prices.
The buy box failed to load during setup for the same reason, showing an error with nothing useful behind it.
The email tab kept asking for a signing secret you had already saved. It was waiting on a second provider that no longer exists.
Errors during setup are now written to the log with a reference you can quote, instead of disappearing silently.
Land leads were only being scored on wetlands and lot size. Sewer, water, power, flood zone and slope were being read under the wrong names and quietly counted as unchecked.
Power to the lot now counts when matching land to builders, the same way it already counted in lead scoring.
