- New
- A microphone button in the Brain chat. Tap it, talk, and your words appear in the message box as you speak — edit them like normal text, then send. It uses your computer's own built-in speech recognition (the same one behind Mac dictation and Windows speech), so there's nothing to download, nothing extra to pay for, and on most machines your voice never leaves your computer.
- Improved
- The read-aloud voice no longer sounds broken. Replies used to be read by whatever voice happened to be first on your Mac — sometimes literally a cartoon voice — and paused awkwardly every couple of sentences. Brain now picks the best natural voice your computer has and reads whole thoughts smoothly. You can still choose your favourite voice in Settings.
- The read-aloud button on each reply is now visible without hovering, so you can actually find it.
- Fixed
- Brain's replies no longer have big empty gaps between every line and bullet point — the spacing matches normal writing now.
