What's new

New
  • When a new version is in the App Store, your iPhone buzzes and shows an Update button that takes you straight to it.
  • The land map now shows power plants with their size and fuel, substations, transmission lines by voltage, and fiber internet with each provider's speeds - tap any of them for the details.
  • The land map's layer picker now shows each layer as a picture card in groups, with water wells, labelled contour lines down to 2 ft, 3D terrain, and a tap card naming the flood zone, wetland or stream under your finger.
  • A new Land use layer colours every lot by what the county taxes it as: homes, shops, industry, farms, empty land or exempt.
  • Turn on Build zones to see where a house could go on a lot — the buildable acres, steep ground, flood area, wetlands, setbacks and septic area drawn on the map.
  • Two new soil layers show each lot's soil types and its odds of passing a perc test, with the likely septic area outlined, and the lot card now shows perc odds and how many bedrooms a septic field could serve.
Improved
  • City limits now draw as a dashed line with the town's name, including the townships that govern in the Northeast and Midwest.
  • Fiber internet on the land map now covers every state, DC and Puerto Rico and the other territories, and says so plainly where there is no fiber data.
  • Water wells now show in Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, New York, Missouri, Oklahoma and Montana, plus seven North Carolina counties.
  • Water wells now show across Louisiana too.
Fixed
  • Your iPhone now asks to send notifications when you set your first reminder, and reminders buzz when they ring.
  • The zoom buttons now step to whole levels, so zooming in with + reaches lot lines, owner names and land use instead of stopping just short.
