What's new

New: Your AI teammates have faces. Every one of them used to be the same little robot symbol, so a room full of messages was a column of identical shapes and only the name beside it told you who was talking. Each teammate now gets their own picture, chosen to suit the name you gave them, and no two people in one office share a face until you have hired more of them than we have pictures.
You have an account page of your own. Your first name, your last name, your email and your phone number, with a picture you upload yourself — and that picture is then how you appear everywhere in the product, in the team chat and beside anything you have done.
Your phone number can be verified from your account, and it is the same number an AI teammate rings when somebody on a call asks to speak to a person. Changing it asks you to verify it again, because a number nobody has proved is a number we will not put a caller through to.
Improved: Notifications live behind a bell in the top corner now, with a count on it, and open in a small panel over whatever you were doing. They used to be a page you had to leave your work to go and read.
The unread count now shows whether or not you let us send desktop pop-ups. If you had turned those off, the count never appeared at all — which is exactly backwards, because that is the person who needs the number in the app.
Threads in team chat read like a proper conversation: the message everything is answering is larger and sits at the top, with the replies hanging off it on a connecting line. Before, the question and the answers all looked the same and you had to work out which was which.
The team chat header is just the room now. Notes and search moved behind a single menu button, and the conversation list can be folded away when you want the width for the conversation.
The read-aloud button moved over to the right, onto the same row as edit and delete, so everything you can DO to a message is in one place. It also works on anybody's message now, not only your own.
Recording a due-diligence fee opens in a panel instead of pushing the whole page down to make room for the form.
The Due diligence page sits in the middle of the window instead of hard against the left edge.
Fixed: The office phone answers properly. Calls were connecting and then playing loud static instead of your receptionist — one of her tools had a full stop in its name, which the voice service rejects, and rejecting one thing threw away the whole setup including the audio settings.
Your receptionist is no longer talked over by a hold tone. When she said she would check with somebody, a soft repeating tone started playing at the same time as she was still speaking, which made her impossible to understand.
Your receptionist is no longer cut off mid-word. On a speakerphone her own voice comes back down the line, and we were treating that as the caller interrupting and cutting her off. An interruption now has to be shown to be a real person first.
"Set up your signing documents" finally goes away when you have set them up. It was only counting one older form, so a firm using the contracts the product actually sends was told for ever to upload one it would never use.
Saving a message into a note tells you when it did not save, instead of quietly doing nothing.
When something is capped — a spend limit, too many imports at once — the message now says which cap and what to do about it, instead of "you've hit a limit, wait a moment and retry" beside a Retry button that could never have worked.
